Night on the Town

Game 7. Friday night. Incredible weather. Should be an amazing night in the city of Boston. Also, if you’ve never visited Boston the next time you make plans to visit the US seriously consider it. It’s a gorgeous city that’s very different than most big cities in North America. To keep it sports related I’ll put up some pics of my trip to Fenway which, as expected, had a tremendous amount of character. I definitely have to come back and watch the Jays on a sunny afternoon at Fenway.

Speaking of the Jays, when they face the White Sox tonight they’ll only have Eric Thames on the bench. E5 and Johnny Mac are injured and can only play on an emergency basis. Kyle Drabek is looking to improve on his last outing where his command was better, but he still had too many 3-ball counts. The Jays, who had been playing fantastic up until that late inning collapse against Houston, look to avoid their 4th straight loss.

I’m off to the pub now to get some seats to watch the Bruins. What’s the storyline in a Bruins-Canucks series besides the long droughts without a Stanley Cup for both teams (in Vancouver’s case no cups)?
